The Tigers are one of the oldest professional teams in Japan. They established play in 1936 as the Osaka Tigers. The Tigers were renamed Hanshin back in 1961 after location and company transfers. Their international following is a bit more extensive compared to the other teams of the NPB. This ballcap you see is the vintage Osaka logo.
